The transition into this stage is often the most difficult. Girls struggle between wanting to be an independent young woman and still needing nurturing from their caregivers. Many teens are also trying to fit into social groups and connect with their identity. At this stage positive self-image awareness has to be reinforced. Girls have to learn how to march to the beat of their own drum. They must be leaders, follow their heart and not to fall prey to peer pressure. Brimi places a strong emphasis on building these skills by working with both teens and their parents. Brimi’s mission is to assist in growing strong minded, independent, healthy and educated women who know their worth and are prepared to go out into the world and do great things.
