This week ladies, BRimi is gearing up for our BFit kickoff!! In summer of 2013 BRimi began a fitness program for girls, ages 9 – 15. Each one hour session featured a fitness trainer leading the group in a fun and challenging fitness activity. This year’s program will include activities such as Zumba, Soccer, Kickball, Softball and Walk/Runs.
Being healthy and staying active is an extremely important part of feeling your best – and when you feel your best, you will do your best. Doing your best will give you more confidence, and confidence is one of those qualities that makes you beautiful. My summer goal is to train for running 5K races. Who knows maybe next year I’ll be running marathons!
I encourage you to start your summer vacation off with a bang and choose to do something physical. Get out and walk or run a few times a week, take a yoga class or get involved with a fitness group where you will be supported in your efforts to get fit.
