I’m back from vacation and I hope you all had a great holiday with family and friends. Now it’s time to celebrate the beginning of a New Year. Take this time to reflect on your accomplishments in 2013 and all the things you are thankful for that have happened this past year. This year might have been a time of loss or sadness, but hold on to the happier memories even in those situations.
Starting a new year is very exciting, it allows you the opportunity to start off with a clean slate. There are many resolutions made at the start of a New Year, with the desire of accomplishing each of them. Most people make decisions on the changes they want for their life.
My resolution this year is to give more of my time to worthy causes. I read a lot of articles about the charity work that people do and how they help others in need, and I’ve always admired those who give back so selfless. Being a good hearted person who shares your time and talents without thought is a gift, and I want to be a person with that kind of heart. My goal is to research a charitable organization that I feel my talents will be most suitable for and give back to it. This will not only help that organization, but will help me be a better person.
IMAGINE…………The Time Square ball in New York City is lowering, the count down is on, the audience is saying 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…....Happy New Year! What’s the first “New Year’s Resolution” that comes to mind when the clock strikes 12midnight on January 1, 2014?
Please write back and share your New Year’s Resolution.
Happy New Year!
