I know from the topic you are wondering what that means. Well, let me explain an experience that I just encountered. I went to get an eye exam, which is a normal routine for me every 2 years. I was in the waiting area going through my phone and customers kept coming in. My first thought was to reschedule, since it was very busy that day and I didn’t really want to wait. I waited and finally it was my turn to see the doctor. I completed my eye exam, then had to go back to the waiting room.
I was finally called to the next station to order my new glasses, and it was there that I met kindness. The woman who assisted me was the most pleasant person I had met in quite a while. She was extremely patient, kind, and very informative, but it wasn’t even like the normal kindness. Almost of a Angelic nature (pure and honest). It was such an amazing experience, that it made me realize how the world of “kindness” has changed. It’s changed so much that I just got use to the customer service that was being delivered in the world. At that moment something changed inside me and I said, I want to be a “face of kindness”. I want people to encounter my presence in such a positive way, that they remember me and it changes the way they interact with others.
It’s that type of simple interaction that can change the world little by little. Just think about it…. to be kind to someone costs nothing, but to leave a positive impression on someone could mean everything to them. After that experience, I wrote myself a mental note, “Don’t always be in a rush to leave a situation”, some of the best lessons might be lying within that situation.
Write me back and tell me if you have ever met kindness and how it affected you.
